a very strange looking fly.thought it was a tachinid at first,but it turns out to be,a
myopa fly genus conopidae.( thick-headed fly family ) very timid and it took a a few hours to finally get a few keeper shots.

thanks brian.dont know about that,but they deposit their larvae in miner bees,and eventually kill their host eating it from the inside.
