Dang Mitch - and you say you're just a hobbyist. You're making the rest of us hobbyists look bad ;-) Fantastic!
The way you handle light - especially in the woods is pretty amazing. I've always found that shooting in the woods is *really* tough, because you get all that splotchy light vs. shade from the trees and foliage.
So, now I'm going to over analyze #1, because that's what I do on people's work that I really like.
So, it appears the sun is at the top left of the frame coming through the trees, then the reflector appears to be low and to our left. But then there looks like there's something high right that's acting as a kicker where her hair parts. Did you have another flash there or something, or am I thinking too much?
David, if i only I could parlay this hobby into some kind of business, but alas, my day job is too demanding. I actually had 2 reflectors in that shot because the backlighting was pretty strong. My daughter held one to the right and I had one angled up. I enhanced the hot spot a little in post. The only thing I make sure of if the light is blotchy is just to have my subject's back towards the light source and make sure I meter correctly. Thanks again!

Nothing wrong with keeping it as a hobby. Just the work that you crank out is extremely high quality. Thanks for the info on the other stuff, too.
Thanks again guys! Yes, beauftiful family indeed, having 2 daughters of my own, my friend and I have similar problems, haha.
ct8282: Funny you say that, because Lisa is an awesome mentor of mine. I have learned to incorporate the many things I learned from her with my own style.

Lisa: Thanks Lisa!
Well I wish one of you would share a little of your magic with me.
