I like the composition here, however, the image itself is way over-processed. Did you process this as a HDR? The haloing really takes away from the image.
The image was an HDR (5 shots). One of the goals was to catch the glow that the human eye sees but does not transfer well to the sensor. I missed the halo myself and now that it has been pointed out, I agree with the comments.
Thanks for the feedback; perhaps I'll have time this week to try stacking the many exposures taken instead of HDRing the one set; maybe I can get a positive effect from the time-lapse of the sun moving over the buildings.
