The Reflectasol (Larson) is the fastest to set up, umbrella style. That said, you can get what it does for less, of course. Matter of fact, it's just a fabric reflector.
There are e.g. Photoflex' or ($ 150) Calumet's frames with legs and crossbar.

thanks. i guess after you buy the frame and fabric from photoflex, you're close enough to the price of the larson that you might as well buy the real thing.

I like to make stuff. Silver and gold material from the fabric store (on sale), PVC pipe, and the wife's sewing machine. I probably spent $60 or so. Holes in the base allow for tent stakes when it's windy.

I've got a couple of the Interfits, I've tried (and built) the frame style, and I've got several of the twist-o-flex type, but it's still true that nothing beats the Larson for speed and compactness.
