At B&H Photo, a two-pack of Lexar 16 GB CF cards (800X / UMDA 7 compliant) is $86.95. One San Disk 16 GB CF card (600X / UMDA 7 compliant) is $74.95. Am I missing something, or are the Lexar cards a legitimate good deal?

The Lexar card is a legitimate good deal. And I would buy those over the one Sandisk card. But to be fair the Lexar 800x cards only have the 800x speed in the reading part. They are still fast in the writing, but more like a 400x or 600x card.

Thanks Lars. I appreciate your input. I am going to go with the Lexar cards.
I picked up a Lexar 1000X 16GB the other day, and the speed of it is amazing, to be honest though, I wish I had ordered from an online vendor, as I paid way too much for it.

The 32GB cards are the minimum size required for full speed writes, but 16GB is fast too.
