I see that Adorama has the Flashpoint D7100 grip listed now but have no availability date ?
Thought about trying one of these out instead of the Nikon version to see how it stacks up and i am going through withdrawal without a grip on my new body..
Not trying to start a factory original grip vs. third party here
Just wanted to know if anyone else had any info or knowledge on when they think the Flashpoint version might be available
I figured it would be soon. Ebay has some made-in-China grips showing up for the D7100. I know many people tended to like the Flashpoint for the D800. I may try one when my D7100 is back from Nikon.

There is some discussion over on NikonCafe about some AF issues I reported back in March. Using Nikon's 3 teleconverters on my 500mm f/4 AF-S II lens, the AF will sporadically freeze. For others it would not work at all using that lens with TCs. I could use my Tamron Pro 1.4X with no problem. On top of that, I noticed the Fn button was not working the way it was supposed to. When set for crop mode, it appeared as though it would change. But, as soon as I would touch the shutter release it would revert back to what I had it set for originally. Love the camera. Just need a working copy.
