My wife and I decided to bring our granddaughter down to Disney and support our gym, FAME Allstars out of Richmond Va. While her team will not be represented at Worlds, our gym is sending 3 teams and we know athletes on all of them. I envy those of you who will be down on the floor shooting, maybe one day I might get the chance to join in. Anyways, good shooting to all who will be there. Looking forward to seeing some great pictures of FAME Vengeance, Dream Girls & Super Seniors. Go FAME!

Im sure I got some at Jostens on Saturday if they were over there, just going to take a few to go through them. I only shot wide at HP for USASF stuff, but Paul was there on my right with telephoto so Im sure he got some great action.

It was my first Worlds and I gotta say, it was amazing to watch! If you never considered cheering a sport then you really have to see this event. I got the chance to speak to one of the photographers but in all the excitement, I forgot his name. I did see Hammy (I think) and the rest of the team working. Can't wait to see the pictures the athletes are getting as I have friends on all of the FAME Allstars teams.
Really excited about Super Seniors as they took a bronze medal, the first medal for any team out of the state of Virginia! We got so excited that day I lost my voice. Rum has medicinal purposes, don't ask how I found out. I did take a few pictures myself from the spectator viewing areas but had to respect the No-Telephoto lens rule. I can tell you with confidence... the 24-105 is not a indoor sports lens but I got a few good ones anyway. I cannot wait for a high iso replacement for the 7D!

Paul, that second shot of Super Seniors has one of my favorite "granddaughters" basing on the right. She will be hanging with us Saturday at US FINALS in Va Beach where my real granddaughter will be competing.
