Wonderful set with plenty of birds to shoot on a beautiful day Socrate.
Lovely light with excellent color and detail, very nice work as always. 2 and 3 are my favorites.

The first three photos are stunners. I especially like the shot of the teals, you nailed everything on that one.
I like the first one a lot but I think taking the skies down a stop or two would make it even better. I bet there are some pretty colors buried in the highlights (assuming you shoot in raw on the 5D3).
The lighting in the third shot is perfect the way it's bouncing off the rippling water. The heron is sharp, the background is smooth, you composed it really well. Have you tried cropping a bit off the bottom though? There's a fair amount of empty space there.
Very well done, a great set....Show more →
Thanks for your thoughtful comments, Alan. I really appreciate it
Your suggestions make sense to me. I didn't do much editing in the first shot (I do most of my editing in CR), except cropping some of the sky out. Toning down the sky will definitely bring some more colors out of it I'll be working on that and may be print a copy
I can see your point about the third shot. I decided to position the bird high in the frame because I was shooting at an high angle and leaving more space in the foreground gives less a sense of that high angle. I will try again with less space and see how I like it.
Thanks again for the help

I have seen eagles at a distance there but not been able to catch them close enough to get a good photo, I will keep trying : )
Thank you, Stpix. As I said go at sunrise. I was just standing at the entrance of the cells on the right and birds kept flying over Good luck!
I'm planning to be around Orlando area at the beginning of next month.
