Is this a walking area or are you by boat?
You did a nice job capturing the feel of morning activities Socrate. #3 is picture perfect tranquility my friend
Certainly seems to be a place offering great diversity and plenty of passer-by IF subjects. Thanks for sharing your goodies!
Karl
Thanks, Karl. You can actually drive with your car (10 MPH speed limit)along the cells of this water treatment plant. Park on the side road get out and shoot
Flying is more active during the early hours of the day>

Wonderful set, Socrate. My favorite is the blue-winged teal, just because the light and the composition are sublime, and it feels so warm. The Caracara is fantastic, and that is an amazing shot of the Ibis in breeding plumage. (Are the dark wing tips breeding or are they always like that?)
Greg
Thank you, Greg. The Caracara was in my list before I got there, together with the Eagle. Spent three mornings in beautiful weather.
The black wingtips of the Ibis are always there, but they are usually visible in flight

Wonderful, Socrate! The light is beautiful (which you exposed) and I love your establishing shots. What species are Nos. 4 and 5. We don't have them out our way
Wonderful set with plenty of birds to shoot on a beautiful day Socrate.
Lovely light with excellent color and detail, very nice work as always. 2 and 3 are my favorites.
The first three photos are stunners. I especially like the shot of the teals, you nailed everything on that one.
I like the first one a lot but I think taking the skies down a stop or two would make it even better. I bet there are some pretty colors buried in the highlights (assuming you shoot in raw on the 5D3).
The lighting in the third shot is perfect the way it's bouncing off the rippling water. The heron is sharp, the background is smooth, you composed it really well. Have you tried cropping a bit off the bottom though? There's a fair amount of empty space there.
Very well done, a great set.
