I've been wanting to make it out for an evening at this location for a long time, and from scouting the weather and tide charts, last night looked to be the right night. This is one exposure using my trusty electrical-taped D300 and Sigma 10-20mm UW with a Cir-Pol and stacked 3 stop soft and 3-stop hard ND grads. This shoot caused my lower third to become gently moistened a few times, and I had a blast doing it. Hope you enjoy!
Well you did well with your bandaided gear! I like the look of this.
It still amazes me that I was out there maybe 6 years ago and shot the Cape but I don't really recall Thor's Well or seeing it... Not sure if it's just the memory getting foggy or what?? I am definitely going to need to go through the archives to see what I have.

Wow, epic shot, where does all the water go?
Thank you! The "well" is 10-20' deep and then has a horizontal opening to the open ocean, so the surges ebb and flow with the wave action at high tide.
