I keep coming back to this thread to look at that photo...now I realize that I need more than one week in the Moab area next month...there are just too many things to see in that area...

Moab's just a base camp. I can argue that Hanksville is a better base camp. Although, no real restaurants, bars, wine - women - song...

Since we have limited time...we are.focusing our trip on Arches...given another week we would see more, too many cool places in that area.

I'd say a cloudless sky was no detriment at all to this superbly executed image.

Hey Travis, I am glad that this is a shot that you can keep coming back to. As to that area, yeah, there is so much to see, and with a week to do it in, you will have to plan well. I have been going to this area for years now, but this last year was the first time that I finally made it to the Temple of the Sun and Moon. I know I focused the first years on Arches, and Canyonlands. I am sure you will have a great trip!
