The Michigan Capitol is a beautifully restored building constructed during the Civil War. I was there on business and took the opportunity to compare two lenses: my Rokinon (Samyang) 14/2.8 and my Sigma 35/1.4 on my D800E.
This is the House of Representatives room taken from the balcony on a tripod. The location is identical I just changed lenses and refocused. The picture from the 14mm was run through PTLens to correct distortion and both were processed in LR4.4. (What appears to be a line of distortion at the bottom of the 14mm pic is actually a brass rail that I couldn't get past with the wide angle.)
