I was deciding whether to return my Sigma 35f/1.4 or try AF tuning to see if focus will improve. I finally decided to return the lens but right after my decision Nikon announced the new firmware update. Having nothing to lose I decided to install the new firmware and try the Sigma 35 one more timen.
With zero AF adjustment and mostly in AF-C. I wonder what it would look like when perform microadjusment. tune the ing.
I am now wondering if my D800 AF nightmares are over or what. I need to do more testing because this is too good to be true. I will try it some more this weekend at my bridal shoot.

Sorry may have miss read this.. Is this after AF MA or just up dating the firmware.
This is just after installing the firmware. NO MA. I hate doing MA. I just don't have the patience for MA.
Also, another thing I noticed was when in AF-C I can barley hear my lens hunt for focus. I kept thinking that focus is not working because the hunting is so silent. I can barely hear anything.
