Very very bummed out we don't get the 100% Zoom on the center button for the D600. This was their chance to do it. Damn.

They never did this for the D90 or D7000 either. I'd really, really like this also, but I don't expect this to happen ever given their pattern. I guess this is why the D800 is $1000 more?

Well if thats the only advantage I get with my D800 for a $1000 price premium then I feel a little hard done by!!

^^ The difference is only a mere $800 for a Pro vs Entry level body.
Lack of 100% zoom, 39 pt AF, and a paltry 1/4000th SS barely
scratches the surface of the MANY reasons to spend a little more.

So that's why they did it on the D7100, because it's $1000 less? If they can have the D7100 have the center button functionality, then I say it's pure stupidity not to include it with the D600.

Or it's one of the MANY reasons to spend less and just buy the D7100 since it has that feature...

Nikon make some odd decisions. The D7000 had dual slots while the D300/D700 didn't, D7100 has (mostly) non screwed up live view while the D800 doesn't etc.
