Gary I noticed your thread and thought what a great idea. Then when I opened I noticed your last name is Ussery. That's the very same surname as my fiance and her family. They are originally from South Carolina and Florida.
Just to add to the spring theme here is spring in Florida.

Most people think of Spring introducing colorful flowers, birds coming back from the south, green grasssprouting, etc. In my neck of the woods it all starts with the Strut. Spring can't be too far behind.

lol, When I was a kid, you would never be able to convince me that the Ussery clas was such a big one. Awesome pics!
Two simple pictures taken in the last two weeks:
Spring in Belgium - strange config (D4 + 40mm DX micro - the only micro lens I found in my bag) D4B_5029 by gugs, on Flickr
and spring in Africa (Casamance, South of Senegal) D800+28-300VR @ 300mm D8A_2382 by gugs, on Flickr
I considered desaturating this as the colors look over saturated, but decided to leave as is. Things are very green around here this time of year. Hand held in the rain. To wet to mess with the tripod.
