What cool shots here! It looks like you made the most of your 6 days. I like your Goblin shot with the Milky Way in #1 quite a bit. I almost stayed to shoot the stars when I was there a few weeks ago, but I wanted to shoot the stars with a bit more of a moon for some light on the goblins. Your choices for #1 work really well.
The other 3 are also really good shots, I will pick #3 as my other favorite.
Really love 1, 2, and 4. The colours are great, however I find the rocks and mountains are competing for attention in #3. Id rather see the mountains by themselves with that amazing sky, but I understand why you included the stones.
Just curious about shot #1. Can you see the milky way with your own eyes? And if so, how bright is it compared to the photograph? Ive never seen it myself so I definitely need to plan a trip down south soon.
Well, I can answer that question. On a crystal clear Utah night the milky way is brilliant. Like a bright road across the sky. Especially if you put yourself out in the desert with no moon.
When I visit my family in Chicago the sky is so disappointing, maybe you see one or two stars. It's almost like a withdrawal from a drug.
I like them all but really enjoy your control of light on the devils garden shot. I got tired of that place (prob been there 30+X) but seeing your shot there reminds me that there is always more to get! Nice on them all.
