p.1 #1 · Trick for getting "clean" HDMI out of D600 and D7100
I recently purchased a HyperDeck Shuttle II.
It will record from the HDMI port
Uncompressed, ProRes, HNxHD 220, and HNxHD MXF
Be sure to download the codecs from AVID to display and edit the resulting files,
I found no link from Apple QuickTime.
When reviewing the info from my D7100 with my external Camax monitor,
I found that if you cycle thru the modes it will get to one that fill the monitor without any info.
The same is true with the D600.
I am sharing post because it took me so long to figure out on my own.
I spent many hours googling and doing searches on forums to no avail.
