Love the chaos and balance of light and dark in #2. It made me smile when I viewed it.

If I may offer my thoughts, and I certainly am not expert, I wonder what it would look like with the saturation cranked up on all but the reds...and maybe taking the yellows towards a golden orange color range. Bet it would be a fabulous abstract that crowds the line of realistic just enough (but not too closely)! IMHO : )
