Just before heading north from FL, stopped in Cape Coral to shoot some of their burrowing owls. This pose provided a wonderful opportunity for using a limited depth of field.

Hey, Scott. They are actually quite small. Height range is between 8-11 inches. A tad larger than the American Robin. I'm up in Canada this week, and hoping to find a great grey owl. They are much larger. Range between 24-33 inches.
Great pic...I have been looking for a great grey forever and apparently missed one in city limits last week mousing! Dangit.
