Really strong portrait, though I would prefer not such a deep dark background here. The contrast is a bit high between the horse's blaze and the background.

The original (film) slide was very contrasty- mostly because on a bright and sunny day as it was here, very little light penetrated into the stall. And I exposed the film for the horse of course ().
The scan exacerbated the problem.
I might have been able to "create" something in those shadows during processing- but I only cheat like that when I think the cheating is worth it .
Here- I like the blackness of the shadows (Qué lástima).

Although I like this also, I'm a context guy more than a portrait guy, and prefer including the two edges of the stable.
