Shane: I'd say there's a general problem with missing faces in most of these images. I know (all too well, believe me) it SUCKS that the glove gets in the way in #1 and the angle just isn't right with #'s 4 and 5, but that's one of the reasons why really good images are really good--everything just seems to fall into place. I'm a fan of shots like your #2, and I like your image. I'm a little less keen on #3, both because I don't think it's a particularly interesting moment in the wind-up, and because I'm not sure you've nailed focus on this one. Sorry to be a downer. You've got a lot to work with here and I'll bet you've got stronger images than some of the ones you've posted.
Thanks for the comments..I was very restricted with the location of shooting..I basically had access to the 3rd base dugout and behind the backstop..no problem Russ, Thanks for your feedback.
I only shot and inning and a half..I was frozen after the first game and was ready to get home..I could have moved behind the screen but this one was just some extra images...not for anyone..
The exposure seems terrific in these shots. I'm just starting with baseball/softball, can you provide any information on those shots that would help, like camera, ISO, shutter, aperture, etc?
Thanks,
Dave
