p.1 #1 · teleconverter on 80-200

I am looking for a 1.4x teleconverter for my nikon 80-200 2.8, I was told the Nikon will not work on the 80-200, if that is true what other brand converter will give me the best results, or doesn't it matter too much?

Second that. Both the 1.4x and the 2.0x Pro 300's work exceptionally well on my 80-200mm two-ring.

I'm assuming you have the AF D version.

There are actually two AF-D versions and one AF version before that.
The Kenko works fine on all of them.

Confirm that it is a AFS model and the current nikon converters will work. If it is a AFD model the converters will not work.
