yup. i cant buy something if its not in stock. c'mon nikon, help me spend my money and make some lenses already...
Yea the stock has been really bad. I"m sure an item NOT in stock deters some buyers since we love to have new toys ASAP. That and the nikon numbers are down. Their still getting good money off the lens, getting more lenses out their its just a win-win for them and us I think.
Anyone know a place that might be offering 12-months financing on a 70-200 VRII lens with the rebate? Amazon offers it on the f/4, of course it doesn't have a rebate on it.

Worst Buy....err.....Best Buy has 18 months. You may also want to check out the Billmelater promotions.
Anyone seen any stores carrying the 70-200 2.8 VRII with at least 12-month financing? Was going to get it through Best Buy and signed up for their card to get 18 months. But they only gave me a $600 credit limit.
