I recently learned just north of the Twin Cities on the Mississippi River a family has been feeding swans every day durning the winter for the past 14 years. Every morning there are literally hundreds and hundreds of swans flying in to feed over a two hour period.
I drove up this morning to check it out. Can't wait to go back Monday morning.
Nice shots Grant... I especially like the second and third images. Swan Park is a great place to catch fly-ins.. best times are before the feedings and if you're lucky, you'll get some river mist on brutally cold mornings. I've shot that area nearly every year since 2008, however I do not like the top down perspective that you are often forced to take. I have recently found a new spot to photograph swans and winter waterfowl. I have never encountered another photographer during my shoots and can lie in the snow for some eye-level photography.

Send me a pm and I'll happily share the spot.
Cheers,
