This is my last batch of images. It was another great photography trip.
Thanks Philippe for being a very nice and extremely understanding travel companion. It's not always easy to shoot together with me, because I often go to the same place over and over again until I'm really satisfied with the light and composition.
My next trip will probably go to Iceland as discussed in this thread: https://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/1153365
Any feedback regarding the images is very welcome, positive and negative. I know that I posted quite a lot of pictures, but it would really help me if you could tell me which images you like and which not and why.

Overall, it was a great trip. Boris is a great partner, learned and flexible, demanding of himself and tolerant of others. I can't speak too highly of him.
Interesting how our respective crops differ so much. It is almost as though we weren't quite on the same trip...
I'd do it again in a heartbeat...
Thanks Boris!

Boris and Philippe,
Excellent images and thanks to both of your for sharing.
A question to both of you regarding the Red hut//house and the rusty drum in particular, is the dramatic color difference in both renderings due to the cameras, lenses, filters, white balance, exposure, and/or processing?

Thanks Peire, Philippe and Rich!
Rich, I pretty sure the difference is mainly due to different PP.
For example with the barrel image: I did not touch the saturation slider, but I significantly raised the contrast in LR (which indirectly leads to more saturated colors).

Always amusing to see the difference between Philippe's shot which is much more natural looking(the way it probably looked that morning) and Boris's wildly saturated colors version. The difference between Philippe's last shot and Boris's version of the same scene could not be any greater.
None the less, very nice landscape images by the both of you and glad Boris had a safer/better trip than the last time.

Wow - looks like you both had another amazing trip! That location has been on the top of my list for sometime. I just need to wait for a business trip to take me somewhere close. I may end up in Karlskrona in the summer which would be fairly close. Boris - I like 1, 20, 22, 36, and 38 best. You had some interesting compostions this time around.... However, I feel these would have been much better if you had scrollable live view. Just kidding!! Great work as usual...

As always, I am delighted to see some alt guys having great time together. Congrats on your great pictures, Boris and Philippe, I have yet to take some time to pic my favorites.
It would be nice to hear some tips for this kind of (winter) shooting and extended photo journeys in general.

Rich, if you take the barrel shot as one example of differences between Boris and I, those differences are quite deliberate. Boris wanted to show the barrel, to tell the world about the barrel. To me, it was the story of a barrel stranded on a desolate beach, of flotsam and jetsam, almost the story of a shipwreck. Hence the different composition and treatment.

Gary, we had a full 8 days in the Lofoten, and it was just the right number IMHO. BUT, and it is an important but, we had great weather, losing maybe a total of 2 hours across 8 days. That is very unusual in February. In the Lofoten, weather is a crapshoot pretty much at any time of the year.
Also, Boris knows the islands inside out and is incredibly organised, and I had already been once, so that made us more "efficient" than first-timers. Finally, Boris and I have an easy and fluid working relationship, which may or may not be the case with others, and saves time.
Conversely, I was over there with Luka (denoir) 2 years ago in March, both of us first timers, having never met before. We had only 3 days, and weather stunk. And we came back with graet pics and happy memories, so....
