This capture is from my new 100mm macro lens. Very minimal pp work done. The second one is 100% crop of the eye.

Thanks Ashley. It is Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM Macro Lens. Not a L lens but it's IQ is in par with any other L grade lens.

Thanks Douglas you need firm hands to get crispy images though, due to non availability of IS. .

Very nice! That Canon macro lens is one of my favorites. I was always impressed with it's sharpness and color when I used it on my 30D (seems like ages ago!)
