I missed this earlier- glad I came back.
This image is unusual and yet it works exceptionally well.
Dark negative space can have great appeal and you've managed it here.
I also would remove the bright spot on the tree and its reflection.

I'll remove the bright spot (which represents the - small - star trail of planet Venus) - you're right / agree, thanks for the recommendation.
