p.1 #1 · DSLR Controller App: Motorola phone to 5d/MkIII USB Cable?
Hi: I've downloaded the DSLR Controller Android app but can't seem to find the right cable for attaching my Razr Maxx phone to the 5d3. I believe? it is Micro USB on one end and Mini USB on the other, both male.
Is anyone else using this app with their phone/tablet, and if so where did you source your cable from?

What you are looking for is called an OTG cable, for "On The Go"
It has a male micro USB on one end and a female USB on the other. You then use the cable that came with your camera with a male USB on on end and a mini-USB on the other, to connect to camera. I use one with my 5d2 to connect to my Nexus 7, running Helicon Remote. I use it to do focus stacking and difficult HDR.
You can get the OTG cables on e-bay for a few dollars.

You can find the correct 'cable' on the devices support page on the DSLRController website, this page has both body and smartphones listed along with a description and link; to an ebay seller, for the specific cable required. The devices link is below...hope this helps, did me...Jerry.

Thanks to all. I've ordered an OTG cable, as well as an adapter kit. I actually thought OTG was a brand name, not a cable type. I saved the monoprice url as that will be useful in the future. The link from the DSLR website was broken but again, I was able to source what I needed.
