Yesterday's BdA count for Sandhills a paltry 63
Bernie's might have had a total of 200
The warm weather obviously impacting their decision to book early.
Headed out to my secret stash before traveling to a gig this morning...
and fortunately a few hundred hung around to work the freshly tilled pastures.
Between the wind and coyotes I got a workout reelin' some in, thought I'd share.
#1 has all kinds of crazy going on... nice capture Will.
#2 is fantastic... sweet nose hole.
Looks like the Coyotes have the same effect there as the Peregrines and Harriers here at the pond.
Killer farewell shot TM... Fall will be here before we know it.
Stay cool man.

Is this early for them to be leaving Will? 3 is my pick.

Hey, Randy...it IS way too early (few weeks) Guess the warmer than normal temps the last couple of weeks
played into their decision to head out early. Playin' havoc with my lessons/guide services but I still have
my reserves close by, but even those #'s are thinnin' fast. 2" of snow last night MIGHT delay add'l departures.
Guess I'm gonna go shoot some

Peace. Out.
Fitting...that YOU get my 32,000th post, Kirkmeister
I swear, I'm usually out takin' pics or at least hittin' da brewpubs.
You're good luck, buddy...just got an order for a 20 X 30 canvas wrap of #1 Thank you!
Very nice as usual Will - #2 is my favorite. The sandy's takeoffs & landings are always fun. It does look like an early spring again - while we still have our winter eagles here in mid-north Indiana, the turkey vultures are back a month early, and I have seen/heard flocks of sandys headed north for the past two weeks. Maybe the major winter storm that's coming will alter their decisions....
