You're liking it then? Great cameras, aren't they?
Ian, number 2 in the series is glorious. Love those tones.
Still getting used to it. It is practically just like the X100 I loved so much ... we will see if the AF pisses me off or not. I am off to our place on the coast for the weekend and plan to put it through the paces. Wish my case, hood and thumb grip had come in, but I will take it naked with just a strap. Plan to shoot it next to my R2A and ZM 35/2. I don't think my Leica will be back from NJ until March, so I have nothing but time with the new toy!
The mood of your B&W Andalusian pictures make me want to go back at a time with few tourists as I experienced it as student in 1977. Any recommendation for the right time?
Tried my new X100T. I use a new lens hood, JJC LH-JX100IIB, which seems to provide much better protection or the lens has much better coating than at X100.
NYC, from December. Two from the Guggenheim and two from a rainy night somewhere in Queens. All from the X100, since replaced with a brand spanking new X100s. I do a lot of night and low light stuff, and specifically for that it was well worth the upgrade.
Just got my X100T last week. Kind of a spur of a moment thing in the works for about a year Nothing at CP+ was tickling my fancy and I need a travel camera.
Just trying it thru its paces. The shutter is too quiet. I use the usual Clunk of my 5DII to know when I'm getting to slow...
Thanks - yes I have one and am loving it (mainly NSFW so I'm not posting them right now) but I don't use filters. No issues with it at all. I have the trash button set up as trash in playback mode but set converter in taking photos mode (on the x100t) so it's very easy to set.

anyone using the TCL-X100 here? what filter are you using with it and are you having any issues? (let's not turn this into a filter/no-filter debate)
Didn't keep it long enough to get around to a filter for it.
Its a decent TC optically, but I felt that it 1) was just a bit too big and heavy and rather hurt the handling of the camera. I'd sooner just use the 35/1.4 on the XT1 or XE2, and 2) while it again worked well optically, it totally blocked the flash. Main reason I wanted it was to shoot more portrait like shots, and take advantage of the wonderful X100 fill flash. Blocks the flash so you lose that feature.
Rode out on bike today to a neighboring small town and took the x100T along for the ride. Trying to keep up with my friend who's training for the MS150 ride (while I ride a mountain bike with a camera bag full of junk) was not easy. Luckily I had plenty to do (take pics) on all the breaks I had to take while she smoked me... It will take me a few posts to show them all. I CAN say that I am so very happy to have my gorgeous Fuji colors back. While I loved the Ricoh GR for many many reasons, I never saw the colors in it that I did in my Fujis.
Thanks for looking...
First Break - SEVERAL miles into the ride...
Love the Fuji color palette
Second stop was at this Historical "painted" Church
the gates were locked so I had to shoot through the bars
