Holy shit. I got my first Fuji camera today, the x100s. My world was turned upside down. I am head over heels for the JPEGs out of this camera. The color and range and emotion are astounding, even at silly ISOs. I forsee my 3 Nikon DSLRs getting a lot less use from now on. I normally shoot RAW only, but thought I would try RAW + JPEG to see how the x100s would handle both. I only processed 6 of the 200 images that I shot today through LightRoom, and those were just light edits to fix my errors. I haven't even had a chance to play with any off camera flash to take advantage of the leaf shutter yet!
I overexposed this by 2 stops, brought it back in LR. Actually, I even tried dropping the exposure to the max 5 stops and only the center of the sun was blown out.
