Shot with my X100s a bit at a local 'pioneer' village yesterday. I used SilverFX to convert to B&W...not sure which I prefer.

They both work, but I prefer the color version.

I prefer the B/W, the colors seem too much HDR like to me

X100 in raw, played around a bit with shadows, highlights clarity and contrast in lightroom 5.
Don't have experience with the new Xtrans sensor, but to me after firmware upgrade, x100 is still a very good travel camera.
For size reasons I'd like to try the ricoh gr someday.
