First outing with the x100s
many were overexposed but it will take a while
aperture mode all the time switching from evf to ovf trying to test it all out
whole new learning curve from the d700
slight crop on the second one
toshiro I love your B&W work. Do you sell Prints? Raws or JPEGs? I have the x100 and love it but seem to grab my XE1 and 18-50 zoom a lot. I am still very happy with the X100 files and have not seen any reason to consider the x100s for my needs. I have had great luck to 13*19 inch prints from JPEG's but I do some 16*20 and those look better from raw.

I only sell some microstock pics but I don't sell my street shots, those are for freee on flickr
With the latest firmware I don't see a reason to upgrade from x100 to x100s. In fact I often find X100 shots more pleasing to the eye as they are a little bit softer. I also like the colors of the X100 more than X100s. But I also use my X100s as a family PnS so I need video and X100 video is really poor. That was the only reason I upgraded.

Amazing!! was this processed from raw or shot bw jpeg?
I always shoot raw and process. I don't think any current camera can squeeze this amount of dynamic range out of the raw with a in-camera process. Not even the A7 with the D-range Optimiser

I had the opportunity to walk around with an X100 this past weekend and I was very, very impressed with the image quality. I may be joining the fray with one of my own here soon.
