Alex, I really like the first one.
Thank you Kevin! It's my favorite, too. Shame we have to downsize - the lady's intense look is so special
ariel777, great shots! It would've been better if the car in the left is not cropped though.
Chris, love your processing! What did you use? Alien skin exposure, maybe?

Yup. Minor corrections to exposure in ACR -> CS5 -> ASE on Tri-X(or Fuji 400 if it's color) preset, then some levels/curves/what have you to make it look "right". I'm 25, and I miss my old Leica, this is as close as I can get to shooting the M2/35mm 'cron combo without spending 10k on film/processing every year.
I love your shot by the way, the processing stands out to me, has that "glow" I try and find here in Hangzhou. Asia is a wonderful place to shoot isn't it?
I have also had these YN560 flashes for quite a while now, but haven't really utilized them. The X100s has opened up a bunch of possibilities regarding flash and now these little guys will be getting some more use. One of these plus a small umbrella and I have a cheap, portable, lighting solution that can actually overpower the sun. I have synced them at 1/2000 @ ƒ2.8 along with the Yongnuo YN-622 triggers. Being for Nikon, the triggers of course don't support TTL, but the flashes are manual anyway so it doesn't matter!
