No, I specifically bought a used x100 because of image quality and to get that fuji x100 magic. I just seen too many complaints about the smearing of details on the x100s. That's why there has been over 25 x100s for sale here in the last 60 days. And that's just on this site.
Some of those actually sold the x100s to get the x100...
Don't forget, some software still struggles with x100s raw files, no such problems with the x100. Google this issue, you will see...

Yeah, I know the issue. A friend of mine let me try and edit a couple of X-Pro1 files and can totally see that issue. Not so bad in the JPG's, but they are there using the latest ACR. You would think that in nearly a year, the issue would be resolved rather than "getting there"...

Twelveish...Great images and excellent colors. Makes me wonder why I have my X100 for sale. May have to rethink that.

Thanks Jack. Yeah I don't feel a need to upgrade to the X100s, if that's what you're doing. Getting rid of it all together - never! Already having the X-E1 it's not that I have a problem with X-trans though. If I were to name the single most significant issue for me, that could warrant a switch, it's the OK/meny button in the center of the control dial. I always have to press it with the edge of the nail on my thumb, or I just press one of the directions of the wheel instead. Small detail, big annoyance.

New firmware definitely improves the performance of the X100. Need to get out and shoot more than fall colors in my backyard.
See what looks like a little bit of flare on the second image, but beautiful none the less. I like them both. What did the new firmware do for the original X100?
