i really like this camera and to be honest, i have not missed my heavy 5DII at all lately. the image quality is lovely, handling is a bliss, even though i would really like a faster way to change the iso than to go through the q-menu (fn button is already in use for nd filter). but other than that i am very very content with the x100s. not to mention i paid 300 bucks less compared to the retail price for a camera that had only been in use for a month...
I'm really liking the two posts above, one of them highlighting the awesomeness of traveling with the X100/s, the other its use as an everyday camera and the liberating feeling of going out with nothing else (and the creativity it can inspire). I bought mine sometime last winter and am now seeing it as the best camera decision I've made yet.
Anyway, in case you haven't seen it yet, Fujirumours (via Fuji France) just confirmed the new firmware for X100 is definitely coming. Late October/November supposedly. Gotta love the incremental updates and improvements.
