In light of the lovely shots from Gothenburg (?) and elsewhere, may I present the lovely local town of Stalybridge - centre of no universes and home to very little glamour. All taken on a 2 hour photo walk this evening:
Some shots from a evening walk yesterday with the X100s. Unfortunately I didnīt remember to get the ND8-filter of the camera and since I had no place to store it I left it on and therefor the ISO values are much higher than one would expected.
Nice captures _downfall_.. Does high ISO matter with X100s
Thanks... Frankly, the lens is little sharp for monochrome with structure feature of Nik Efex Silver.
Next time, need to minimize structure or will do without NIK software.
On the positive side, its almost unbelievable how much details you can pull from shadows from the RAW file (used X100). Its very deep gorge, and you get pretty strong sunlight on fall as well as water pond. At rest of the places, its just as dark as it goes in deep woods. Though it rained just before captures, hence reflective surfaces (esp moss) and some clouds too...
One more, X100...
