How would you compare the X100 to the X100F? Also, can you compare the two sensors? I used to own the original x100 a long time ago and am can't decide if I want to get the new x100F or a Sigma Dp2 Quattro camera.
I have a love hate relationship with the x100... I bought it twice, and now I am selling for the second time. The camera is perfect, except for the grip. It simply does not work for me.
I got the thumb grip that goes into the flash hotshoe and that fixed the grip issues for me. But I still ended up getting rid of the camera because the perspective distortion at 23mm makes portraits unflattering, the lens is awful up close/wide open, and the high ISO performance isn't great. I really liked the workflow/usability of the camera though, and wish Sony would take a page from Fuji's book in that regard. If you could put the RX1 lens and sensor in this body it would be the perfect camera.
