Great work Jim, #3 is the standout for me - really nice starburst on the moon. Sounds like you had a great time with Craig, we're looking forward to a future visit there to catch up with him, he certainly knows the best locations
cheers Andrew
How did you get a moonstar, too cool. I will be going to Arches for my first time in May....planning on a lot of late nights and early mornings. Your images are amazing...inspiration. I know mine wont be that good but I can try!
Definitely works for me. IMO, not every star shot has to be filled with the depth and dark lanes of the Milkyway. I think these are a nice compromise between night and the incoming start of the day.

Hey Andrew,
Thanks so much. It's one of those that even when you take it, you feel it's going to be special. You will have a great time with Craig when you get through there on your trip. Sounds like it will be this next one?

Hey Travis, thanks so much! May should be a great time there, you will enjoy it, there is so much to see and explore in that area. I am sure you will come away with some super shots too!

Beautiful shots Jim! I love how the moon stars when stopped down. Great stuff in a great spot, well done!
Thanks so much Todd. Yeah, all we have to remember is that the moon is like a minature sun and shoot it accordingly. I am glad I was able to get the moonstar thing working on it, that aspect turned out really nice.
