Has anyone had problems tethering the D800E to Lightroom? I was in the middle of a shoot and it just stopped transmitting. It was working fine and then at one point the wheel in LR kept spinning but nothing ever came through. I had to restart LR and unfortunately Nikon doesn't record the images to the card while tethered so I lost the images. I'm using a tether tools cord. I know Focal has stated that there are issues with their software using the D800E and a USB 3 cable.
I've had this happen with my D700, no spinning wheel though. Images just stopped transmitting, but images already there were not lost. Never understood why. I'm just using cord that came with camera. Now using D800 and no problems having used only 3-4 times. I have no idea if this is a LR problem, or a camera problem...
