Very nice. I'd be tempted to crop the right side just enough to eliminate the two lights in the top right. Then again that would remove coit tower so why mess with perfection.
I do like this shot! I agree with Dave's suggestion to crop out the to right lights ...I would like to see a little bit of sky in the top right corner. My sense it that the shot would look more balanced than with having the bridge "ram" into the corner ... more floating.
You used HDR ... what can you say about the way you set the shot up ?
I never get sick of this angle of the bay bridge and the city. Good job and those sunstars are cracking.
I've been planning on shooting from TI, but never had the chance yet. I've read up a little on how to get here. Is it true that it's a little dangerous spot to get to? Also where did you end up parking? Did you get harassed by any cops?
The legal parking area is about a mile from this spot and i had to walk on a narrow road (no sidewalk) flashing my led lights so I dont get run over. Definitely not very safe. The best thing to do would be to have someone give you a ride to the spot. Didnt get harassed by cops. Pretty sure they're accustomed to photogs visiting the location although its on federal property. Would I be going back, probably not. Between the cops, a dangerous hike and coast guards patrolling the area it causes tension while shooting.
Thanks. I might have to stop by the city after work tomorrow and I was thinking maybe I could stop by there, but after reading your post I may just wait until someone can drop me off like you mentioned.
