i have found a D3s with 2348 clicks on it.has 3 nikon batteries with it and everything in the box.asking price is 4000 and not going to move any on price.long story behind the low clicks.no marks of any kind on it.anything i need to look at on this?i know it works from the pictures sent to me.just from looking on here it sounds good.
I don't think its a bad price. However, for another grand, you could pickup a used D4. Not that its a better camera just newer. At the end of the day it doesn't matter what anyone here thinks about the price. The only thing that matters is how much its worth to you and what you are willing to spend.

At $4k, it's a little high, but not ridiculously high. Prior to the tsunai, a new D3s was $5,200.
Do be aware, however, that:
-Unscrupulous sellers can still find ways to reset the shutter count to zero. They then put it on cH for a few minutes, and *poof*, a D3s w/ worn out/sticking buttons has a "low shutter count"...
-Shutter count, albeit relevant to price, means almost nothing as far as wear & tear on the camera. Either it works or it doesn't, and it usually either fails within the first year or goes for several years.

That seems a little high. I've seen the go from $3500 and sometimes lower.
well good news,i did get it lower to 3800.one good thing i like is i can meet the person and hold it and try it out and check everything on the laptop.
I picked one up off CL for local pick up with 5200 clicks full history of shots and the guy even had the Nikon bag from local B&M store for 2950. Used it at the Fiesta Bowl and worked perfect. It is an amazing body.

he had gotten it and used for his job and ended up leaving the job and put it back in the wrapper and box and put it up and changed jobs and never touches it.i will be getting it next week.he has sent me 3 different sites showing the shutter count.
The guy I bought it from shot jets and for a very limited customer (base) and had a
5DMk3 and used both. Not everyone rattles of 3000 shots in a weekend. My guy never gets on here or really other sites so did not really follow pricing. I know I would never find another that good but they do come up. I would have been expecting to pay around 3300-3500.
