Lovely set. I like 1 as well. Did you haul that chair far?
Not for this shoot, only about 1/2 mile. I have a little trailer, a Chevy Tahoe and several peaces of furniture that I use on shoots. Usually I decide which chair, stool or couch I want to use on a shoot prior to leaving for the shoot, and narrow the furniture down to only a couple of items. About the furthest I have haul something is about 30 miles.
Shots 3 and 4 are the clear winners, pretty young lady for sure. The first set doesn't work for me, a bit OOF and the first shot needs to be cropped IMO. I would certainly agree with the opinion that the 2nd young lady has some model qualities.
The photos of Lindsey look a bit too flashed to me. Toning down the flash power or gelling it could help. Or it can also be something you did in post production.
The light looks much more consistent and "real" in #3 and #4 so that's why I like them better.
In 3 and 4 the young woman is so beautiful one forgets, in particular number 4,
how well the photographer has done his job.
What a lovely, stunning image you and her have made.
I think the first shot is flawed because of posing. Her legs look fat. Also, whatever is in the grass in front of the chair is distracting. I absolutely love #3 though.

Good thinking! I think the last one is beautiful..the look in her eyes is fantastic.
Thanks for all the comments. What is truly amazing, especially with Haley is that both girls said they had neither one had their photograph professional shot since they were about 5 or 6 when their mother's took the to Sear's portrait studio. They both felt comfortable in front of the lens but Haley was awesome, it was like she and I were n the same wave length. Anyway thanks again!
