Yes tax would be for me, just checked it isn't thru B-n-H, both shops give you 2 percent rewards also, B-n-H is the better buy here in SoCal...thnx Chris

I just bought my 100-400 through B&H because of the tax, even though I have amazon prime. 3 day shipping was still cheaper
The Lowepro shoulder bag and 16gb SD card B&H throws in are nice. The bag is quite usable. Mine came with a 32gb card from them, but the 16 is still nice especially if one has mostly CF's.
If i were to do it again, I would prob buy from Amazon instead of B&H. B&H screwed up my order and had to overnight it (at their cost), to get it to me a few days later than it should've been delivered. Amazon, I KNOW it would have been delivered on time via Prime 2-day or 1-day.

Well the price will always be cheaper after you buy. I looked for a used tse for two months. Finally purchased a new one and had 3 used copies turn up on BS the following month...

So true, felt that back in late 07 with my 40D/70-200 f4L IS combo, in early 08; same store, the combo was 300 cheaper
