These are cartoonish like birds (especially that first one...so so cool) with that stripe that makes them look as though they are smiling...great shots and love the color, sooty as they may be. I dare say these are your best yet (except maybe that incredible march of the penguins shot )

You and the 1DX did a marvelous capturing all of the subtle shades of soot in these beautiful birds Don.
What a thrill to be able to see them in their natural habitat.
"Soaring" is my favorite.

that soaring shot is great don! the deep blue background really does it. albatrosses are so cool, but we don't get any of 'em here in the northeast.......
