So i went through the trouble of setting default settings for all my cameras at all iso's. My question is there a folder location i can save these settings so if i ever reinstall lightroom i dont have to redo all of these settings.
sorry, i have a windows 7 pc. I have the both settings on "make defaults specific to camera serial number" and "make defaults specific to camera ISO setting" in the preferences menu.
You can also use Edit>Preferences, select the Presets tab, and click on "Show Lightroom Presets Folder...". That should take you to the folder where all your presets are stored.
Thanks, but I'm actually talking about the default values not a preset that i have created. For example, instead of my default values being exp 0, i have it set to +0.48, my contrast is set to +15 instead of 0, and instead of calibration adobe raw, i have it set to my cameras standard. basically, if i reset, all these values will remain and i don't need to apply a preset at import.
Since those settings are shared with Adobe Camera Raw, I suspect they are saved in a Camera Raw location rather than folders created by Lightroom installation. The most likely location is C:\Users\[User Name]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw\Defaults which is a hidden location so you'd have to configure Windows to "Show Hidden Files and Folders."
