Not really... I got out one day, but at a total of 3 different locations, I had 1 bird, (a KF no less), within "range", and it was badly back lit. I was looking for owls, but I would have settled for a few ducks along the river. No such luck - they were way out in the middle of the river - too far to ID even with the 500. ~ Ron
