There is a SEO that poses for me on the same set of brambles almost every time I visit this spot. At least i assume it is the same one. Most of the time the light is poor, but I love the way it ignores me so I can practice.
Great shots Dick, You are lucy to have such cooperative bird. I have driven up to Stanwood many times from Tacoma with no luck getting any cooperative owls. Bruce

Thanks everyone. I went back yesterday morning and found the owl again. Same place, same branch, more light. I'll post a couple later to see if there is any improvement.

Bruce, location is along the road on way to parking lot where you got the great Harrier shots last year. Last patch of blackberry brambles to the right before the big curve along the river. Of course now that I said that the owl will never show again.
