Spotted the first dronefly hoverfly I'd seen this year yesterday during a little sunshine. I tried moving the leaf it was on for a better shooting angle but it insisted on not being shaded and facing away from me. Eventually it decided my fingers were a warmer place anyway and walked on.

Brian you sure are persuasive, getting all those bugs to sit on your finger, usually when I approach anything that flies they are out of there before I can say cheese.
