Ouch! I’m so sorry to hear of your injury Conrad. Now you have 6 months to create the longest post in Internet history. As you already did a post with 100 images in it and you got that up in a day, you should be able to do 4,200 images in a post in 6 weeks and not break a sweat.
Get well soon my friend,
Morris
Haha!!! That's way too many pics man. I was thinking of doing one pic a day until I'm better!

Conrad...when I stated you raise the bar....I refuse to travel to the frozen tundra just to take an extended 6 week vacation (I only have two weeks anyway).
Me think I stay at a lower rung on the ladder on this one!!!!
My heart goes out to you on this one dude.....will truly miss your shots for a while
Get better fast......for all of us!!
Haha! Thank you very much, I'll post one a day until I'm healed!

WHAT How come I only hear about this now? Is that what REALLY happened, buddy Come on, you can tell us the truth. No one else will know. This interweb thing is really private!
Seriously, that just sucks. Hope you're on the mend quickly my friend.

Sorry man I have been meaning to call you. Its just how it happened. Carelessly walking in deep snow, fell, twisted my ankle all the way around. Sucks huh?

Don't feel bad my friend I took a header once looking up a Acorn Woodpecker and got my foot lodged under a rock,
held up camera and saved it without a scratch but landed on my chin and knocked myself out. Talk about feeling stupid I could see and hear
but couldn't move until I rebooted felt like Mike Tyson gave me an uppercut for days. http://www.pic4ever.com/images/looksmiley.gif

May I ask if other people were around to help you? Was cell phone coverage available in the area where you fell? How long did it take for responders to get to you? Sorry about the curiosity.
I think most everyone on this forum has went out searching for wildlife/nature/photos and could experience or has experienced something like this.
Best wishes on your continued recovery. I wish my home state would have been kinder to you.
Haha! Your home state is beautiful, and dangerous! At least for us Californians Yes I had one buddy Anthony Whitmore helping me out of the ditch and back in the car. ZERO cell phone coverage at Sax-Zim Bog. At least with Sprint. My buddies and I quickly left!

Conrad, sorry to hear the bad news, the average level of the N&W forum is going to sag a little while you are off your feet. Hope the healing goes well!
